Security forces kill 17 terrorists in Lakki Marwat Ibo: ISPR


The security forces killed 17 terrorists who belonged to an “Indian power group, Fitna al Khwarij”, in an intelligence -based operation in the Lakki Marwat district on the night of September 26 and 27, 2025, the military media wing said on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by public relations between services (ISPR), the troops “effectively compromised the location of Khwarij”, 17 khwarij sponsored by India were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were recovered during the operation.

The Army said that those killed “remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as in the murder of innocent civilians.”

A disinfection operation is being carried out to eliminate the area of ​​the remaining militants. Security forces reiterated their determination “to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians.”

Earlier this week, security forces killed 13 terrorists involved in numerous activities, including the facilitation of suicide bombing, kidnappings and the objective murder of government officials and civilians, during the same operation in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to public relations between services (ISPR), the security forces launched an operation based on intelligence on the reports of the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian group ‘Fitna al Khwarij’, in the district of Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
