An anti -terrorism court has canceled the interim bail of Naeem Haider Panjotha Advocate for not submitting for a hearing of cases registered against him and ordering his arrest. Panjotha, the lawyer of the founder of PTI Imran Khan, had obtained an interim bond in two cases registered against him at the Atock Police station on November 26.
Despite being summoned, Panjotha and his lawyer did not appear before the court on the scheduled date. Due to the non -appearance, the court canceled its interim bail and ordered the authorities to arrest it.
Who is Naeem Panjotha
Naeem Haider Panjotha, a prominent member of the legal team of the founder of PTI Imran Khan, has been representing the head of the party in several cases of high profile. These include defending Khan in multiple cases of violence of May 9 derived from protests after his arrest, as well as the vandalism cases of Long March were presented for alleged damage to public property during PTI manifestations in Islamabad.
Panjotha has also appeared for Khan in the case of Al-Qadir Trust / Graft and other procedures related to corruption, in requests that challenge their detention conditions and prison facilities, and in cases recorded under sedition and charges related to allegedly make statements against state institutions.
In several cases, his defense has resulted in the suspension of arrest orders, bail approximately or absolute for the former prime minister.
