There is a new chapter in the Cam Newton-Tua Tagovaila saga.
Tagovaila responded to Newton’s previous criticism, saying that “well, anyone can play as a field marshal in this league”, while discarding soccer experts at a press conference on Thursday. Newton applauded Friday.
“Anyone can go 0-3,” Newton said during ESPN’s “first shot” on Friday.

“When I see the situation that takes place in Miami, it is more ‘Love Island’ drama than football,” said Newton, “and in large part, I would not say that everything is in Tua, but it is a main ingredient, and I only know what it is capable of.”
Newton cited the amount of tagovaila to highlight its past success.
“There are) times that we have seen tua tagovailoa, and it was at a high level. I don’t want $ 53 million … simply being a chance on the street,” said Newton.
Newton encouraged Tagovaila to trust his open receptors.
“Leave it tear,” said Newton. “When you have Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill and Mike McDaniel as a coach, you have all the assets and services. Once you have shown you are capable. I don’t know what is in Miami now.”
Newton’s comments about ESPN’s “first shot” were in response to Tagovaila who mentioned it by name during a press conference on Thursday.

“Well, anyone can play as a field marshal in this league.” Cam is doing your thing safely, but I think it is easier to keep a click and talk about that in that way or talk about what someone else is doing badly when you are not going out and have to do the same as them.
“I think it’s easy to do that. I think anyone can do that. I don’t think anyone can play as a field marshal.”
Tagovaila acknowledged that he has not played as well as he would like during the 0-3 beginning of the Dolphins. Tagovaila has completed 69.7% of its passes for 575 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions.
Tagovaila’s struggles are what led Newton to call him in relation to the four -year contract and $ 212 million from the Dolphins Campal Marshal.

“Tagovaila is doing more than Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, Jayden Daniels,” Newton said in an anterior episode of “First Take.” “Am I seeing my pocket? No, I’m putting things in perspective here.
“In this case, it should be more money, more expectations … what they pay, what is asked to do, what has the capacity to, from one field marshal to another, I look at the situation as we go, Dawg. Especially when it has a Ferrari and a Lamborghini and other comforts that other quarters want they have.”
The Dolphins (0-3) face the New York Jets (0-3) on Monday night.
