At the September 25 premiere of the show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Zahn, who plays the coach of the team, admitted that he often “broke” the character when Powell appeared with full disguise.

“I could barely keep it together. I broke with him a lot. Oh, yes, it’s ridiculous,” said Lotus White star, 57. People’s magazine.

“When we were shooting, I spent more time with him like Chad than like Glen. So every time I saw Glen, he almost felt strange, like ‘Oh, that’s the guy I never see!'”

Zahn praised Powell’s performance as “remarkable,” and added: “It is brilliant in this part and such an incredible human being. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I hope we have a second season.”

Looking back, Zahn said he had doubts when he first read the Powell script co -wrote with Michael Waldron. “I remember thinking: ‘How are you going to achieve this? Prosthesis, football … How will it be real?'”

In the end, the effort was worth it. “I was really happy. I think it will be a success. This show is incredible.”
