Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan had reached economic stability and was now ready for growth, since he paid tribute to the Pakistani abroad during an interaction in the high commission of Pakistan in London, Radio Pakistan reported Sunday.
“Pakistan is quickly progressing in economic, foreign relations and military fronts,” said Prime Minister, added that recent profits were the result of “sincerity, hard work and team efforts.”
He also mentioned: “We can overcome every difficulty and advance with cooperation, consultations, sincerity, persistent efforts and unity,” he said, emphasizing that Pakistan has recovered “dignity and respect for the community of the nations.”
The prime minister said his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) reflected the feelings of the Pakistani and highlighted the problems of Kashmir and Palestine. “Kashmira will get his freedom someday,” he said, adding that Gaza’s people are supporting the ‘oppression and brutality that is never seen before in the world’.
Shehbaz said that a recent meeting of Arab-Islamic countries with US President Donald Trump would produce “encouraging results” in Gaza. He said that 64,000 Muslims, including women and children, had been martyred. He also described his meeting with President Trump in Washington as “constructive and productive”, calling him a “trampoline” for better bilateral ties.
The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, said that Shehbaz Sharif had “effectively represented Pakistan” in the Unga, where Pakistan participated in about two dozen meetings. Giving said that eight Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Turkiye and Indonesia, had held conversations with Trump in Gaza, with ongoing follow -up meetings.

Giving also gave Shehbaz credit for saving Pakistan from the economic breach in 2022, saying that the economy had stabilized since then. “The interest rate has been reduced to 11 percent from a maximum of 22 percent and inflation has decreased to five percent of 30 percent,” he said.
The Pakistani abroad who attended the event praised the speech of Shehbaz Sharif, particularly their movement to highlight the problems of Kashmir and Palestine, and said it was “among the most listened to speeches” of the session. Later, the Prime Minister registered his impressions in the Book of Visits of the High Commission.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who attended the 80th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA) on Friday, was previously presented by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, for conversations at the White House on Thursday, in the last sign of relations with heating between Washington and the nuclear energy of the south of Asia.

Shehbaz Sharif was among the senior officials from eight Arab and Muslim countries who met Trump outside the UN General Assembly this week to discuss the strategy on the end of the Israel-Ahamas War in Gaza.
Upon arriving at the Andrews Air Base, the prime minister was well received by a senior official of the United States Air Force.
The prime minister’s caravan left the air base in the US security ring. Field Marshal Syed also accompanied the prime minister.

On the United States side, the participants in the meeting included the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance and the senior defense officials, together with President Donald Trump.
Before the meeting, the president of the United States, while talking with the media, called Prime Minister Shehbaz and the Munir Munir ‘Great’ People.
PM asks Paz, dialogue in the Unga session
When heading to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the decisive response of Pakistan’s armed forces to Indian aggression as one that “will echo through the annals of history.” However, he asked peace and said: “We have won the war, and now we seek to win peace.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz said: “Pakistan’s foreign policy, guided by the vision of Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, has its roots in peace, mutual respect and cooperation. We believe in the peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue.”
He recalled that, of the same podium last year, he had warned that Pakistan would act decisively against external aggression. “Those words of mine proved to be true. When in May of this year, my country confronted aggression not caused from our eastern front, the enemy came wrapped in arrogance; we send them back in humiliation, delivering a bloody nose,” he said.
The prime minister declared that Pakistan had demolished seven Indian planes as an act of self -defense under the UN letter in response to the aggression of India.
The prime minister also extended an offer to India for an integral dialogue and oriented to the results on all outstanding issues, emphasizing that southern Asia needs proactive, non -provocative leadership.
Reiterating Pakistan’s resolution to defend the right of his 240 million people to the Indo waters, the prime minister warned that any violation of the treaty would be seen as “an act of war.”
