Jennifer López is opening on her choice of clothing and her fashion challenges of her new project.
The singer, who appeared on CBS on Sunday morning during the weekend, told the host Lee Cowan about her 50 -pound dress of “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
Speaking about the contributions of the costume designer Colleen Atwood, López said: “It was very specific about every moment of the movie … when I was so specific about it, she immediately put me in an idea immediately, instead of trying to elaborate it, find it.”
“The gold dress was 50 pounds,” López reveals, “I was very heavy. When they built me, and tried to move my leg and make the attitude. It was a nightmare.”
At the end of the day, all the pain was worth it. “It worked. The way the dress and the dress lines moved. [Atwood] He really is a teacher in that, and it was perfect. We would see it on the monitor, and said: ‘Oh, I didn’t even realize that the costume would be so good.’ “
