Taking X, Samantha Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s half sister, wrote: “My father is caught on the 19th floor of a building in the Philippines after a massive earthquake and cannot walk and is caught.”
He did not provide more details, but he blamed Meghan for the situation, highlighting the crack between father and daughter who has persisted since his 2018 wedding with Prince Harry.
A powerful 6.7 Magnitude earthquake hit the East Visayas region on Friday, according to the United States Geological Service.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported that there was no threat of Tsunami, but urged people to stay away from the beaches and prepare for possible replicas.
