On September 30, Sir Gary Oldman received honor from Prince William’s Knight, the Prince of Wales.
Taking Instagram later, the official mango of the Prince and the Princess of Wales shared an idea of the ceremony.
The video shared by the Kensington Palace showed Gary receiving William honor for his decades of memorable presentations in film and television.
The special message shared on behalf of William said: “Thank you, Sir Gary Oldman, for decades of unforgettable actions, either as a hero or villain, or something intermediate!”
Referring to the series of the Oscar Slow Horses winner, the legend reads even more, “it is not bad for a slow horse …”
“Congratulations to all who received honors today,” the legend concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Sir Gary Oldman himself revealed the shameless comment of Prince William while granting him the gentleman.
As cited by Metro, Gary revealed that, although William admitted to being a fan of his current series, he added that every time he sees the actor of the series he only wants to “give a good washing.”
To which, Gary responded jokingly: “Well, I think I’ve scrubbed good today.”
