One of the first moments of viral, the university football analyst, Paul Finebaum, had in ESPN in 2013 when he said that Lane Kiffin, in some aspects, was the “Miley Cyrus of university football.”
At that time, Kiffin was not considered the high -level coach who is currently in Ole Miss. Kiffin, like Miley Cyrus, had a famous father in the NFL, Monte Kiffin, who was a legendary coach with the defensive schemes he cooked to help win the national cornhuskers championships of the Tampa Bay Bay Bay Bay Bay Cornhuskers.

Lane Kiffin was briefly the Oakland Raiders chief coach before taking the work of Tennessee volunteers and, finally, the work of the Trojans of the USC. As Kiffin’s mandate began to fail in Southern Cal, Finebaum made the infamous comparison.
Finebaum recalled the moment in a recent interview with the founder of Outkick, Clay Travis. He said he was not a Kiffin fan for how he left Tennessee, but after he made the comparison, he heard him from his wife and co -workers.
“I finished the soliloquy with ‘Lane Kiffin is the Miley Cyrus of university football.’ Miley Cyrus was not hot at that time,” said Finebaum. “And I left the set, nobody spoke to me. I didn’t realize that Kiffin was one of the boys. I get on an airplane in Atlanta, I’m still living in Birmingham, I land. My wife picks me up. And she says: ‘Why did you say that stupid about Lane Kiffin?’ She said: “I don’t think they have you back in the program.”
Finebaum said he remembered waking up on Sunday after his viral moment “College Gameday” for telephone calls of the ESPN and breaking News on “SportsCenter”.

“I’m going home. Everyone is angry with me. I screwed up. I’m going to bed. I wake up. I grab my phone and find myself in the kitchen,” he said. “I received a phone call from 860, which is Bristol, Connecticut, I turn the television, ‘Sportscentr’ – Breaking News, Lane Kiffin shot at the asphalt after losing to the state of Arizona. And the next thing I saw? I call him the Miley Cyrus of College Football.
“And he exploded. Kiffin held him against me. He mentioned it in each interview. I cost his ‘dream work’ despite having had enough since then. He simply became part of the tapestry of Lane Kiffin and me.”
Kiffin has increased from the lowest minimums to one of the best chief coaches in university football.
After his departure from the USC, he became an offensive coordinator and coach of fields under the field Bajo Nick Saban in Alabama. He was then the chief coach in Florida Atlantic before Ole Miss’s work was opened.
Kiffin has led Ole Miss to an appearance in a bowl game in each of the first five seasons that has been to the helm. He has also had three seasons of 10 wins.

Currently, Ole Miss is number 4 in the nation with a 5-0 record to start the year. The rebels exceeded the then-no. 4 LSU last week and increased the survey. They have goodbye this weekend before preparing to play the Washington state on October 11.
