Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha Archive Declarations written in a controversial Tweets case


Human Rights Lawyers Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha reported on Wednesday a district judge and sessions that will approach the Superior Court of Islamabad to challenge the procedures of their court so far in the controversial case of tweets against them.

Irked for the absence of Mazari and Chattha yesterday (Tuesday), the district judge and sessions Muhammad Afzal Majoka had issued non -financing arrest orders for Mazari and Chattha.

Rejecting his request to be excused from the hearing, the court had ordered the police to arrest the two and produce them before the court if they did not appear.

The police had presented the charges, but the student’s lawyers and wife were not accused since they were not present in the Court.

When the audience resumed today, Mazari and Chattha presented writing requests informing the court of their intention to challenge the procedures before IHC.

The case against them focuses on the tweets published by IMAAN in X, which have been called controversial and anti-state. Chatta was included in the investigation to retweate these publications.
