The Cleveland Browns made a change in the field Marshal position on Wednesday before the team 5 of the team against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Browns announced that rookie Dillon Gabriel will begin as a field marshal over Joe Flacco.

Cleveland selected Gabriel in the third round of the NFL 2025 Draft. Oregon’s outstanding tied a record of all FBS time for most TouchDown passes. He fought with Kenny Pickett and Shedersur Sanders to win the backup work in the training camp.
Gabriel has already received some action this season. In the 10 snapshots he has played, he has 3 of 4 with a touchdown pass and 19 air yards.
Flacco, a Super Bowl champion, has left without a touchdown pass in the last two games and has three interceptions in that period. The veteran field marshal has 815 air yards, two TouchDown passes and six interceptions during the first four weeks of the season.

It seems that Sanders will continue to be third in the depth table of the Browns. The Browns selected it in the fifth Round of the Draft of Colorado. Sanders commented on the eyebrow last week in an interview with ESPN Cleveland.
“I know that if you see the field marshal play in the league at this time, I know I am able to do it better than that,” he said.
Sanders said it has been preparing as if it could be called at any time.
“I don’t think playing or not playing in my hands. I think, according to the situation, if things go where I play, I will be ready to play. I am ready to play now,” he said.

“I concentrate every day in what I have to do, and only where I am in depth, I do not let that dictate my mentality every day. You do not know what can happen or it could happen. Then, it is really to maintain the mentality of remaining blocked and remain in everything. Stay focused on the same.”
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Sanders.
The Browns and the Vikings will play in London on Sunday.
