The CM of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, presents the main lifting projects for Murree, including water supply, school improvements, green line buses and trains service.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Center in Samli, Murree, the CM of Punjab said that the installation of heart patients was built in a short period and the operations had already begun, with five angiographs performed on its first day.
Cardiac surgeries are scheduled to start in the next few days, he added.
The CM of Punjab added that the police, health and education departments for Murree now worked independently. Roads had also been built before formal ads were made.
CM Maryam also said that Murree schools were being improved, an important water project was being introduced and a sanitation scheme was also being launched. A tourist force had also been created to make Murree one of the world’s main tourist destinations.
She said the highway had been built to facilitate millions of visitors and that the “Sethra Punjab” program was handling cleaning in Murree.
The Murree Cardiac Center would also serve Galiyat’s residents. A modern hospital in Bhurban would be built, while the Administration had received instructions to execute three buses for the Samli Hospital.
According to the main minister, an order of 15 buses for Murree had been made. The Green Line bus service would be free for students, the elderly and women. He added that a trains service would also be launched, eliminating the need for tourists to bring private vehicles.
She commented that, although many in the past had made empty ads and false promises, her government had delivered projects without promises.
She said that facing challenges such as severe floods in Punjab had not prevented her administration from continuing.
