- The facial kit on Shark’s home includes facialpro glow and depuff gadgets
- FacialPro Glow works with formulas to hydrate and absorb impurities
- Depuffi has a dish that becomes very cold or very warm, to sign and calm
Shark has just launched a new kit that allows you to make your own luxurious facial at home. They are not only lotions and potions (although there are two specially developed formulas that are part of the offer): it includes two unusual devices designed to help purify, sculpt, firm and, in general, leave it as the most radiant version of you. These are shine and depuffa facial sharks.
This brand is perhaps the best known for making some of the best vacuum cleaners, but it is also increasingly hiding a name in the beauty space.
The Flexstyle Shark is a popular Dyson Airwrap alternative, and the Shark Cryoglow Light therapy mask has been causing a stir since its launch at the end of last year.
I had the opportunity to try the new facial kit in the London Labs of Shark a few months ago, and as someone who is not terribly interested in skin care, I approached the experience with a good amount of skepticism. In the end, I was not completely sold; It had fallen on the heels for the depuffi tool specifically. If I can overcome its stupid name, I will be the first to collect one when it is launched as an independent device.
However, I am advancing. How does the facial kit on Shark’s home? The whole process takes about 10 minutes. Start by preparing your skin by applying the ‘detox derm aha + bha exfoliating gel’ to loosen any dead skin cell. Next, it implements the Glow facial tool. This has clean and dirty liquid tanks and a selection of nozzles.
You pass the nozzle on your face in established patterns, and spray what is in the clean tank (water to start, and then ‘Hydro Infuse bha hydrator’ for the second round) while sucking your skin to clean it.
After completing this, Shark invites you to open the dirty water tank and “decode your dirt.” The water in my tank was quite murky, but I am not sure how much of that was the dirt, the oil and the dead skin that the facial brightness had extracted from me, and how much it was only product.
I remember waiting/wanting a little more thrust of this device. The suction is understandably quite gentle, and that, combined with the fact that the nozzle is quite small, it meant that it did not feel the most complete clean. Maybe it was only the fact that the center of London was hotter than the sun the day I visited, and I felt especially sweaty and unpleasant before entering, but I felt that I could have done it with something more vigorous.
It was much more impressed with the Depuffi, which can be used at the beginning or at the end of the process. This device is inspired by Gua Sha, the traditional Chinese technique to scrape the skin with a blunt object to encourage circulation. Here, the process is oversized by the addition of hot and cold therapy. Essentially, the Depuffi has a plaque that can become toasted or extremely cold in seconds.
Apparently, the combination of scraping and extreme temperatures will help you relax, improve the appearance of your face and encourage greater absorption of the product of the previous stages. Specifically, the cold configuration is to deposit, define and help you look more awake, while the hot configuration increases the circulation and help you relax.
All I know is that he felt excellent. The tool can change from heat to cold to cold, the temperatures reached are satisfactorily extreme without being unpleasant (you can choose between three hot and three cold configurations), and it is incredibly relaxing to use.
The Depuffi is currently sold as part of the entire facial kit, but must join shark alignment as an independent product on a later date. If asked, the name follows a convention used by Shark’s kitchen arm, Ninja, which is known for things such as the Ninja Crispi Air fryer and the Ninja Slushi Drinks machine. However, most people are not aware that Shark and Ninja are the same brand, so here it sounds especially incongruous.
Shark Facialpro Glow has a list price of $ 399.99 / £ 299.99 for the basic kit. It is available to buy now directly from Shark UK, and “will arrive soon” at Shark Us.
