
Karachi: light and drizzle rain is expected today (Thursday) since moisture persists in the port city, said the department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD).
The weather office said that the existing wet climate is likely to remain the same with the partial coverage of the clouds on the metropolis during the next 24 hours.
According to the MET department, the maximum temperature in Karachi can reach up to 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum registered was 26.9 ° C. The moisture in the air was informed to 74% during the last 24 hours.
The current prognosis of light and drizzle rain comes following a different system of low pressure. He approached the Arabic sea in recent days, increasing the risk of a tropical cyclone at the end of this week. The system is located approximately 440 kilometers south of Karachi and is likely to dissipate over the sea in the next few days, he added.
The PMD has advised Sindh fishermen to avoid venturing in deep water until tomorrow as a precautionary measure, although there is no immediate cyclone threat to the coast.
