- Nothing of OS 4.0 has now entered open beta
- Nothing 3a and 3a Pro phone cannot get it
- The features vary according to their phone, but the outstanding aspects include an AI and Widgets of AI
After his advertisement a couple of weeks ago, nothing 4.0, which is nothing of Android 16, has now landed in Beta Open, so if he has one of the four nothing phones, he can download it to your liking (it is not yet available for each phone).
At this time, the Nothing OS 4.0 Open Beta is available for Nothing Phone 3, The Nothing Phone 2, Nothing Phone 2A and Nothing Phone 2a Plus. That leaves Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro, which is strange since they are newer than some of these phones, but nothing has said that the beta version will reach these phones at some time in October.
Assuming that you can obtain the beta version, the real characteristics that you will also vary according to your phone.
With Nothing Phone 3, you will get access to a ‘AI use panel, which provides greater transparency about what AI is doing and how you are using your data. You will also obtain several corrections of errors and performance improvements, including the best camera stability.
If you are using a Nothón 2 phone, a Nothing 2A phone, or a Nothón 2a Plus phone, then you will get the prejustment of the camera ‘stretch’, which adds rich shadows and reflexes extended to the photos. You will also obtain application optimizations at the system level to improve starting speeds.
Updates for all
Then, there are some features that are apparently reaching all phones in the beta version, including emerging view for two floating icons (so it can change between applications faster), two new locks of lock screen watch, 2×2 fast configuration mosaic support of 2×2 and an additional dark mode.
Interestingly, you can also create widgets using AI, with Nothing Phone 3 that admits up to six of these widgets, while the other models can have up to two in operation at the same time.
To get the beta version, download the Beta .apk update center on your phone, then install it from your download folder. Once this is done, you can go to configuration> system> nothing beta hub, and touch ‘unite beta’. Once you have registered, simply touch ‘go to the update’.
Of course, the same warnings apply here in terms of all betas: this software is unfinished and may not be stable, so if you are not in a hurry to try the new incorporations, you can always wait for the completed launch.
