Four Wounded Police personnel at Peshawar IED Blast


Peshawar:

Four police personnel were injured when an improvised explosive device hit his vehicle near Qamar Din Chowk in the jurisdiction of Bhanah Mari Police Station, Peshawar, Thursday.

According to the police chief of the city of Peshawar, Dr. Saeed Ahmad, the police vehicle was in a routine patrol when the explosion occurred. “The explosion suddenly took place, wounding four of our staff. They were immediately transferred to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment,” he said.

The initial reports identified the wounded officers such as Shah Faisal, Agent Sajad, Noorullah and the driver ZIA. Police and security forces quickly arrived at the site after the explosion, cordoning off the area to collect evidence.
