Islamabad:
The Senate Defense Production Committee met Thursday with Senator Abdul Qadir in the President to deliberate about the resolution of pending issues related to the development project of the Gwadar shipyard, including the acquisition of land, public complaints and environmental concerns.
The Committee was informed by the Secretary, Production of the Ministry of Defense and the main secretary Baluchistan on the obstacles they are currently facing in the execution of the Gwadar Shipyard Project.
The Committee was informed of the concerns of the local community, as well as possible options and viability for the implementation of the project.
