Islamabad:
The judge of the Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has transferred to the Supreme Court against the ruling of the Superior Court of Sindh (SHC) that dismissed his plea of becoming part in a false case on him.
A petition filed in the Apex court challenges the decision of September 25, with Judge Jahangiri, stating that the order is illegal, since it was approved without listening to the affected party.
The petition argues that the SHC overlooks the question of maintainability and issued an ex -party sentence, denying the petitioner the opportunity to be heard or represented by a lawyer.
The plea argues that Judge Judge’s problem could not have been addressed before a constitutional bank and states that the cancellation of its title is “malamperante and illegal.” In addition, he points out that the petitioner is not only a judge at the IHC, but has also occupied several bar offices in the past.
The petition has appointed 10 institutions as respondents in the case, including the Higher Education Commission of Sindh, the University of Karachi and the Pemra.
