Arthur Jones, brother of Jon and Chandler Jones, dead at age 39

Arthur Jones, a key defensive liner during Baltimore Ravens’s race for the Super Bowl title in 2013, he died, his former team announced on Friday. He was 39 years old.

“We are terribly sad to learn about the sudden death of Arthur Jones,” said the general manager of the Ravens, Eric Decosta, in a statement.

Jones was the brother of the UFC Jon Jones heavyweight champion and the former defensive wing of the New England Patriots Chandler Jones.

The Ravens selected Jones in the fifth round of the NFL 2010 Draft. It began 20 games for Baltimore for four seasons, finishing their period with 8½ catches.
