Flashlights It still does not have a confirmed launch date. However, during a press event of February 2025 (as reported by the deadline), the DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran co -presides, said they were confident that it would be released in early 2026.

Deadline also reported that Garret Dillahunt was involved as the modern cowboy William Macon, but Variety has indicated that the role has gone to Jason Ritter. It is not clear, then, who Dillahunt will play with.
In other places, Deadline believes that J. Alphense Nicholson will portray a younger version of Stewart’s father. The deadline also stated that Jasmine Cephas Jones will portray a youngest iteration of Stewart’s mother, which suggests Flashlights It will include flashbacks to John’s childhood. The current versions of Stewart’s parents will apparently be performed by Sherman Augustus (again by deadline) and Nicole Ari Parker (through Variety).
