Mac Jones found himself in a spooky situation on Thursday before helping the San Francisco 49ers to an extra victory.

Jones had the beginning while Brock Purdy continues to deal with an injury, and the Niners won a 26-23 victory over the Los Angeles Rams along the way.

But before heading to the stadium, Jones, according to the reports, witnessed a body floating in the water outside the hotel in Marina del Rey, California.

“That morning at the Team Hotel in Marina del Rey, Jones told the teammates that he was on his balcony when he looked at the water and saw a floating corpse,” said Atlético. “Someone called the police. While the 49ers loaded buses for the stadium, the players observed the investigators and even the truck of a coroner to enter the sports port.”

Atlético added that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said the incident was still under investigation on Friday afternoon.

Despite the fear of fear, Jones clearly did not flinch. It ended 33 of 49 with 342 air yards and two touchdown passes as its resurgence continued. The game began with a Touchdown pass to Jake Tonges and followed him with a touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey.

The 49ers rose through the field in the extra period of time and put themselves close enough for Eddy Pineiro to try a field goal. He hit the 41 yards outside the post and through the uprights with 5:51 to go extra time.

The Rams moved through the field, but put Kyren Williams in fourth and 1 to preserve the victory.

The niners now have 4-1 and 3-0 in their division, which is again reduced to the cable after the playoffs will be lost last year.
