The Penn State Nittany Lions suffered a humiliating defeat by 42-37 at the hands of the UCLA Bruins without victories on Saturday.
The defeat marked the second consecutive defeat for the apparently wobble lions. Penn State fell short against Oregon last week, and the second defeat of the season hindered his chances of doing the university football playoff with a difficult path ahead of them.

Penn State chief coach James Franklin was subject to fans after loss.
UCLA used all the tricks he had in his bag to throw Penn State off guard. The Bruins Campo Marshal, Nico Iamaleva, led a touchdown unit to open the game. Then, the Bruins recovered a surprise in the side kick, which finally led to a field goal.

It was just more difficult from there.
“The game opening sequence for a touchdown, then the surprise in the side kick. We talked throughout the week that could take significant risks throughout the game,” Franklin said. “Those were two significant units and plays. From that moment, we were fighting. We made a lot of mistakes that we normally do not make and had sanctions at critical moments. Things we do not do and we have not done for a long time.”
Penn State will face Northwestern next week: the Wildcats also have 3-2 this season. The team then reaches the road for Iowa and Ohio’s number 1 state. The infernal streak ends with No. 8 Indiana arriving at the Happy Valley.

Even with the hard trip ahead, Field Marshal Drew Allar said he still believed that the team could reach the university American football playoffs.
