The reign of the Kansas City bosses on AFC has received great success during the first five weeks of the 2025 season.
NFL fans have become accustomed to seeing Chiefs magically get victories in the final games or absolutely dominate their opponents. Kansas City gave fans a look at that with victories about the New York giants and Baltimore Ravens this season, but their three defeats have opened the door to criticism from almost all angles.

The Chiefs were on the way to a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night when they jumped to an advantage of 14-0. But the Jaguars scratched each other and made their way back to the game thanks to a 99 Yard Lloyd interception return for a TouchDown and Trevor Lawrence tripping over the score zone for the playing player of the game.
Patrick Mahomes tried to face the reality that the Chiefs face at the beginning of the season.
“He only talks about our entire season,” he said about the mistakes and sanctions that have hired their struggles. “I feel that we have the boys and we have executed at certain points of the game and we looked very good and then crushed with sanctions, errors and interceptions and loose balls or whatever.

“It’s just that we have done that to ourselves throughout the year. It has been a guy here or there and in this league, it is so close that these changes change. We have to do better. We have already lost too many games. We have to find a way of being better as a team and meet and play better during the rest of the season.”
Since Mohamses assumed the position of Marshal of the team holding, the greatest amount of defeats that the Chiefs suffered in a season were six in 2023. However, they won the Super Bowl that year.
Mahomes has 1,257 air yards, eight touchdown passes and two interceptions.

Kansas City will have the Detroit Lions on their time. The confrontation is scheduled for Sunday night.
