The open receiver of the Oklahoma Sooners, Kontez Lewis, left the Saturday’s game early against Kent State after suffering a terrifying injury while trying to make a trapped.
Lewis tried to track a ball from the Michael Hawkins Jr. Field Marshal that passed over the head in the first quarter. He found himself in the back of the annotation zone when he caught him, but fell and crashed head against the brick wall that bordered the score area of the Stadium memorial in Norman, Oklahoma.
On Tuesday, Oklahoma confirmed his plans to install padded around the brick wall.
Oklahoma coach, Brent Veniables, said the details are not yet clear.
