Security forces killed seven terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, security forces launched the operation on October 8 following confirmed reports about the presence of terrorists affiliated with an Indian-backed terror network, Fitna al-Khwarij.
“During the exchange of fire, Major Sibtain Haider, 30, a resident of Quetta, was martyred while leading his troops from the front. He paid tribute to the bravery of the officer and said that he fought bravely till his last breath,” he added.

“Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain Khwarij, who were still actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as in the killing of innocent civilians,” the statement added.
The statement added that the disinfection operation is being carried out to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave sons further strengthen our resolve.

Yesterday, eleven servicemen, including two officers, were martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in a mountainous district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the army confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, adding that 19 terrorists were also eliminated in the encounter.
“Security forces carried out an IBO in Orakzai district over the alleged presence of terrorists belonging to Indian representative Fitna al Khwarij.
During the conduct of the operation, 19 Indian-sponsored Khwarij were sent to hell due to the effective commitment of their own troops,” the army’s media wing, ISPR, said. Fitna Al Khawarij is the state-designated term for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its allies.

Later, funeral prayers were offered for Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, federal ministers, military and civil officials and public attended the janaza.
