The Cabinet ratifies the defense pact with the United Kingdom


ISLAMABAD:

The federal cabinet has ratified the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. On this occasion, the cabinet members paid tribute to the leaders of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired the meeting during which he briefed the members in detail about his official visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Nations General Assembly and Malaysia.

The federal cabinet approved the donation of 15 non-flyable aircraft (8 Cessna and 7 Fletcher) from the Department of Plant Protection to various institutions for educational, commemorative or exhibition purposes.
