Queen Elizabeth II had a cheeky side, says a professional dancer.
Strictly Come Dancing’s La Voix tells of a time she met Her Majesty at the Dorchester Hotel to celebrate the Christmas party hosted by Prince William and Prince Harry.
The professional dancer spills and then saw Elizabeth II shaking a leg to Bruno Mars’ hit Uptown Funk.
She said of what she witnessed: “I have [performed] for the Royal Family for two years in a row. I did their New Year’s Eve party in Dorchester two years in a row for Prince William and Harry; It was his party and it was incredible.
“Obviously there were a lot of confidentiality agreements signed and things that I can’t talk about, I can’t tell you too much, but I can say that I’m one of the only people who has seen Queen dance to Uptown Funk, Queen Liz.”
“It was amazing! The greatest experience I had was like watching a normal family have a party; it felt so normal and so wonderful. I felt really honored to have been able to do that, it was amazing,” she added.
