The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were amused during an episode of South Park last year, have dealt with the most damage through humor.
Speaking in a new Channel 5 documentary, Harry and Meghan: Royal Hypocrites, royal commentator Daisy McAndrew says: “What I think hurt Harry and Meghan almost more than anything else was their taking the mickey with the Privacy Tour.” [South Park] episode.”
“When they were the butt of jokes with cartoons, showing them as completely hypocritical going on tour to ask for privacy, but in the meantime they exposed it on all kinds of late-night television shows,” he adds.
Prince Harry left the Royal Family in 2020 along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showing racism towards their son and publicly shared their complaints on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
