John Cena’s wrestling career will come to an end in two months, with his final match taking place on December 13 at the Saturday Night Main Event in Washington, DC.
The “never seen” 17-time world champion has four dates left in his career, but the only thing that remains unknown is who Cena will fight to end his career.
Cena posted a cryptic post on Instagram early Tuesday morning, featuring a photo of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning shaking hands; Cena did not offer any titles.

Fans immediately wondered if Cena was telling his fans who his final opponent would be without saying it, with many believing it could be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson and Cena, like Brady and Manning, are widely considered among the greatest of all time in their respective careers and dominated the ring together.
Johnson hasn’t been to a WWE event since Cena turned heel in February in an apparent partnership with The Rock, but Cena returned to being a babyface before “SummerSlam.”

Others, however, think the message was code for Edge, who was arguably Cena’s biggest rival throughout his illustrious career.
Others thought he was actually paying homage to his match against AJ Styles last weekend in Australia, where the two paid homage to many past wrestlers with their signature finishes throughout.
The Rock is on the board of TKO and was asked by Travis and Jason Kelce on “New Heights” who should be Cena’s final opponent. Rock took a brief pause and a few laughs before divulging.
“I have a little bit of influence in the booking, but really it’s who John wants. That’s what it comes down to. It’s not me, Nick Kan or Triple H, it’s whoever John wants,” he said. “That guy has earned it.”
The clock has been turned back several times this year on Cena’s farewell tour, as he also had feuds with Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar.

Cena will appear on “Monday Night Raw” on Nov. 10 in Boston (near his hometown of West Newbury, Massachusetts) and Nov. 17 before heading to “Survivor Series” in San Diego on Nov. 29, and then wrap things up two weeks later.
