These cute new Nest Learning Thermostat faces will turn your temperature controller into a work of art

  • Google has released new faces for the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th generation)
  • The highlight is a subtly animated botanical face that changes each month.
  • Faces are now available through the settings menu on your Nest thermostat.

Google has released a new set of faces for the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th generation), with botanical illustrations and subtle animations to make the slim thermostat look more like a piece of wall art.

The new faces are applied to the thermostat’s Farsight display, which displays when there is activity within 20 feet. Once you move within approximately 3 feet, the view will change to show the current target temperature, time, room temperature, analog or digital time and date, or weather, depending on the setting you have chosen. Google’s support site offers a full breakdown of how the system works.
