Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently faced criticism after casually posting a video from her trip to Paris that showed her kicking up her heels while driving through the tunnel where Princess Diana died in a car crash.
Royal experts called the Instagram video “beyond stupid.”
Now, inside sources tell RadarOnline that the insensitive video hit Prince Harry and Prince William hard.
The source said: “In the palace it is said that the prince was upset by the publication. Insiders even say that they had a bitter argument and he stormed out.”
“He adored his mother and everyone knows how difficult her death was for him,” they added.
Meanwhile, Prince William, Prince of Wales, reportedly turned “white with anger.”
“William saw the clip and went white with rage,” a source told Rob Shuter, who revealed it on Substack.
They went on to share: “Oh he, it wasn’t just in bad taste, it was a personal desecration. That tunnel is sacred ground. For Meghan, treating it like a selfie moment was the ultimate insult.”
He added: “She said it was grotesque. She couldn’t believe she filmed herself near the same place that destroyed her family.”
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s husband, was just 12 years old when Princess Diana died in 1997. However, Prince William, Prince of Wales, was 15 years old at the time.
