Japan’s Quantum Solutions (2338) Adds More ETH and Is Now the 11th Largest Corporate Holder

Quantum Solutions (2338), an AI-focused company that is building an ether treasury, said its Hong Kong subsidiary, GPT Pals Studio, bought 2,000.13 ether for $7.85 million on October 21.

The Tokyo-based company said it now holds 3,865.8 ETH valued at around $15.1 million, with an average cost of $4,101 per ETH. The purchase makes it the 11th largest ETH digital asset hoard (DAT) in the world and the second largest outside the US, according to data from CoinGecko. The largest DAT company outside the US, Shanghai-based Intchains, has more than double that number.

The purchase was financed through external loans and proceeds from recent share rights and convertible bonds issued on October 14.

The company plans to continue accumulating digital assets, primarily ether, to improve long-term value.

Quantum Solutions shares are up 17% so far this year.
