Top Sims 4 Creators Quit EA Creator Network in Reaction to Proposed $55 Billion Deal Backed by Saudi Arabia

  • Going forward, these streamers will no longer be financially affiliated with EA, which will cancel creator code eligibility, as they look to cover other non-EA games.

Various above The Sims 4 Streamers and content creators have abandoned the game’s EA Creator Network, citing EA’s proposed sale to Saudi-backed investors as the defining reason. This includes James Turner, lilsimsie, CarynandConnieGaming, Plumbella and more.

EA Creator Network is a program that provides early access to a broad set of games and updates, offers exclusive opportunities for content creation, and occasionally sets up sponsored content and other paid partnership work. Furthermore, many Sims 4 Creators use the Creator Code program that rewards streamers with a portion of sales of select products.
