Responding to concerns raised by students regarding the 2024 Intermediate Part I exam results, Karachi Board of Intermediate Education Chairman Syed Sharf Ali Shah announced the formation of an inquiry committee to address the complaints .
Shah, who took charge on January 3, met Colleges and Boards Department Secretary Mohammad Abbas Baloch to discuss the concerns. Following the meeting, a decision was made to establish a committee to review the results of the examination and ensure transparency in the process.
“The committee will investigate the entire matter and address the students’ complaints within a month,” Syed Sharf Ali Shah said. He emphasized that students’ trust in the examination process is crucial and the committee’s purpose is to restore that trust by ensuring fairness and transparency.
The president reassured the students saying, “They are our priority and future. We will take all necessary measures to address their grievances. The committee will work impartially to make the examination process more transparent and of higher quality.”
He added that the committee will thoroughly review all aspects of the examination process, including paper verification and preparation of results, to ensure full transparency.
Shah also urged students and their parents to bring their concerns and suggestions directly to the board so the committee can address them.
Students dissatisfied with their results were advised by the president to submit their scrutiny forms as soon as possible at the bank booth at the board office.
