Sydney Sweeney spoke about returning to Euphoria scheduled for season 3.
During his recent appearance at AFI Fest 2025 for the premiere of his new film christianThe 28-year-old star shared that she will soon finish filming the HBO series.
“I finished ‘Euphoria’ in two days,” he said. Variety Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Excited to be back on set after three years, she said: “It’s pretty much the same crew, so it feels like I’m at home with my family.”
“I grew up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people is very comforting,” he added.
Furthermore, during the night Sweeney revealed to People who is excited about her upcoming biographical project Scandalous!, which chronicles the real-life love story of Hollywood legend Kim Novak with the late musician Sammy Davis Jr.
“Once I finish Euphoria, I’ll switch over to team Scandalous! and turn my brain into Kim,” Sweeney told the editor. “I’m so excited. I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’m going to meet Kim Novak.'”
“I feel incredibly honored to bring Kim to life. I mean, she’s an incredible actress,” she continued.
Additionally, he gushed about the biopic’s story, noting, “I think his story is still very relevant today because he dealt with Hollywood and scrutinized his relationships and his own private life and control of his image. And I think, for me, I relate to that in a lot of different ways.”
