Woman defends King Charles as man shouts at monarch in Lichfield

King Charles traveled to Lichfield, 22 kilometers north of Birmingham, on Monday as part of his royal duties.

During his visit to the cathedral city, the king met with the people who had gathered to greet him.

The royal family shared an Instagram post with glimpses of the monarch’s visit with a brief statement.

“Thank you to everyone who waited outside the Cathedral to greet us,” the statement said.

It said: “The King was celebrating local community and heritage skills around the Fenland Black Oak table, made from a Jubilee oak that had lain undisturbed in peat for 5,000 years.”

The social media post contained a video of Charles’ visit, but what it didn’t show was the moment a man shouted at the king while he was meeting people.

“How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein? Have you asked the police to cover up for Andrew?” a man shouted from behind a camera.

“What do you think? Should MPs be allowed to talk about royalty in the House of Commons?” the unidentified man asked.

The king did not notice the man and continued talking to the people as if nothing had happened.

His guards did not react either, but watched the man while he questioned the king about his disgraced brother.

But a female supporter of the monarch is seen in the crowd yelling at the protester asking him to stop shouting, winning the hearts of the royal family.
