Council session mistakenly signs “passed” resolution due to oversight, matter will be resubmitted
A misunderstanding occurred during a council session held on Friday regarding a resolution related to traffic fines in the city, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation acknowledged.
After reviewing the official records of the council, it was observed that said resolution, although presented by certain members of the council, was not properly discussed or debated during the session.
Furthermore, the document was signed by mistake and recorded as “approved” due to an administrative control, even though it had not gone through the necessary deliberation process.
Therefore, the resolution regarding traffic fines has not been passed yet, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation clarified.
