Buckingham Palace recently saw the announcement of DEFCON-1 and, according to sources, there is a frenzy at the Firm as a result.
For those who don’t know, this is all due to public calls for Andrew to be stripped not only of his dukedom or his military honours, but also of the princely title he enjoys as the younger brother of the reigning monarch and son of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
A Whitehall source has shared a warning about the state of the company. According to their findings, the reason for DEFCON-1 was the Andrew title fiasco that rocked the Firm, which is why Parliament was “snooping around” according to famous news reporter Rob Shuter.
In his substack he explained that behind closed doors, senior MPs began to discuss Andrew’s behavior and conduct, and there were even plans to summon him “to testify under oath.”

According to Shuter, that’s why Andrew’s title was processed so quickly, and “we’ve never seen the actual paperwork move so quickly,” he even added.

However, before the news was approved, a senior adviser was also quoted as saying that King Charles’s reasons for taking this path were not “out of shame”, but rather that Andrew “was sacrificed to protect the system”.
