A gas cylinder has exploded in the basement cafeteria of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, causing the building to shake. Four people were injured and were immediately taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
After the explosion, lawyers and court staff evacuated the building and moved to open areas outside.
Rescue operations are underway to provide immediate assistance to the injured. Islamabad Inspector General Ali Nasir Rizvi also reached the SC. The bomb disposal team is inspecting the affected building.
