Netflix has publicly released the first images, images and voice cast of Stranger Things: Tales from ’85.
To celebrate Stranger Things Day 2025, the streaming giant has revealed new details about the first spin-off of the popular series. This includes a first look at the aesthetic of the Saturday morning cartoon-style show via two official images and new images of Stories from 85 through a behind-the-scenes report, which you can see below.

We already knew that Netflix was developing a stranger things animated spin-off, but this is the first time the world’s best streaming service has truly lifted the veil on a series developed by Eric Robles (Failure Techniques, Fanboy and Chum Chum) and executive produced by franchise masters Matt and Ross Duffer.
In fact, aside from showing it at the 2025 edition of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in June, Netflix has been hesitant to show or tell us much about the first stranger things project that will expand the universe in new and surprising ways.
