Are you looking for a different day?
A new NYT Strands puzzle appears at midnight every day for your time zone, which means some people are always playing “today’s game” while others play “yesterday’s.” If instead you are looking for the Friday puzzle then click here: NYT Strands Tips and Answers for Friday, November 7 (Game #614).
Strands is the latest NYT word game after Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, and it’s a lot of fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands suggestions.

NYT Strands Today (Game #615): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 615 are…
- PORTAL
- ENTRANCE
- DOOR
- DOOR
- INCOME
- LIMIT
- SPANGRAM: LETMEIN
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
I’m glad I didn’t use any hints today, as this was not an easy search at all, with several hard-to-find words (I typed “door” and “doors” before finally getting to DOOR).
The phrase “knock, knock” is usually answered with “who’s where?”, but after placing PORTAL, ENTRANCE, and DOOR in quick succession at the top of the board, I knew we weren’t looking for anything to do with pranks.
Despite getting the spangram pretty quickly after my initial explosion, I had trouble with the bottom half of the board and it took me a while to realize that we were looking for INCOME and THRESHOLD on our way to glory.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, November 7, Game #614)

- TANGO
- DIP
- TEXAN
- MARIACHI
- REGGAETON
- SPANGRAM: LATIN MUSIC
