Sony’s State of Play Japan was full of indie announcements, remakes, and DLC, but these are the games I’m most excited about.

  • Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will receive a new closed beta next month
  • A new 27-inch gaming monitor with DualSense charging dock will arrive in 2026

Sony’s latest Japan-focused State of Play concluded after an announcement-packed presentation. Again Elden Ring Night Reign and Wild monster hunter Updates, new trailers for upcoming games, and the reveal of a Japan-exclusive PS5 Digital Edition, there were plenty of updates for all types of fans in the 40-minute stream.

But, in case you missed it, I picked out my top five announcements that stood out the most among a sample focused primarily on remakes and DLC.

Night reign of the Elden ring, FromSoftware’s cooperative survival game will receive its first DLC titled The abandoned holesand will be released next month on December 4th.
