House of Marley has introduced new over-ear headphones with the longest battery life I’ve ever seen in a pair of wireless headphones: 130 hours. The Positive Vibration Rebel ANC earbuds achieve this with active noise cancellation turned off, of course, but even with noise cancellation turned on, you’re looking at 75 hours between charges, and few earbuds go over 65 hours.
Oh, and since they have fast charging support, you can get four hours of music with 15 minutes of charging.
There’s no need to pay cutting-edge prices for a gigantic battery – they’re officially priced at $149.99/£129.99, but they’re running an early promotion in the UK, so they’re just £99.99 on Amazon UK. They are also on Amazon in the US, but for the full price of $149.
As you’d expect from House of Marley, they’re made with environmental responsibility in mind. The Positive Vibration Rebel ANC headphones are made from FSC-certified wood, recycled aluminum and “eco-friendly” fabrics.
The Positive Vibration Rebel ANC headphones have Bluetooth 5.4, 40mm drivers, and adaptive ANC. They are foldable for easy travel and feature touch controls and voice assistant integration, and are rated IPX5 for water resistance. You can choose between two colors: black and cream.
House of Marley stuff can be hit or miss – they’ve released some bargains in the past, but also stuff that just wasn’t the quality we want, even if it was a good price. The battery life alone interests us, but we’ll have to see if they’re good enough for a spot on our list of the best noise-canceling headphones after a full review.
There’s also a new pair of ANC headphones, the Trenchtown ANC headphones, shown below. These launch at $129.99/£99.99, but they’re also running a special offer in the UK – they’re just £69.99 on Amazon UK.
These also have Bluetooth 5.4, ANC, touch controls and voice assistant integration, and are IPX5 rated. Battery life is six hours with the earbuds alone and increases to 24 hours with the charging case. They’re made from recycled plastic and sustainable sapele wood and, like their over-ear siblings, are available in black or cream.
