Shawn Levy, the director behind stranger things, says the upcoming ending is a “masterpiece.”
“It’s the emotional punch of this season, and particularly the last episode. There’s a reason it’s coming to theaters. There’s a reason it deserves it. I think Matt and Ross made a masterpiece with the final episode,” he says. GamesRadar+.
The filmmaker, who is also an executive producer of the series, adds that the Duffer brothers had “a very clear idea of where they wanted everything to end.”
“Those bookends were pillars of this fifth season, and now that you’ve seen the beginning, I can tell you that, having seen the ending, it’s such a beautiful ending to any series I’ve ever seen,” he adds.
As stranger things With season five nearing release, Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, gushes about the scale of the final season.
