Ahead of its release, Peacock released a new clip of Evil: Forever, showing a brief but exclusive preview.
The footage features Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and Jeff Goldblum. Additionally, initial reactions to the upcoming film have been enthusiastic.
Reports say that the musical sequel is expected to score 10 nominations, similar to its predecessor, at the Academy Awards.
On the other hand, Cynthia, while promoting the film, recalled seeing the show Wicked on Broadway, of which the screen version has been adapted, at the age of 25.
“I hadn’t seen the musical,” he says. “I saw it when I was 25 and made a unique date for my birthday, and I ended up being in that place that made me feel safe.”
Additionally, Ariana, who plays Glinda, praises her role, revealing, “I think that spark of connection to my craft was also pretty disconnected for a while. It really felt like falling in love with creating again was safe and like maybe I was being seen for the first time.”
Evil: forever It will arrive on November 21.
