- Galaxy Buds 4 Pro just appeared in One UI 8.5
- It seems that a flatter and more compact design is coming
- New features have also been leaked, including head gestures.
It looks like successors to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3 will appear sooner rather than later, and now hidden animations in One UI 8.5 have revealed the design and some of the key features of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
These animations were discovered by the Android Authority team and show the wireless earbuds taking on a more refined and curvaceous look compared to current versions. It appears that the onboard LED lights have also been ditched.
The stems will apparently flatten out, rather than follow the triangular look of the Galaxy Buds Pro 3, and overall the design seems a little more compact and simple, although they’re still very easy on the eyes.
We also get a look at a charging case, which will now apparently open completely, rather than following an AirPods-style design. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are shown placed horizontally in the charging case in one of the animations.

As for features, one of the animations discovered by Android Authority shows that the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will support head gestures, something we’ve seen on other wireless earbuds, including the best Apple AirPods.
Apparently, you’ll be able to use head gestures to answer or reject calls, dismiss alarms, listen to notifications, and interact with an artificial intelligence assistant. This should come in handy when you have your hands busy doing something else.
The animations also show that various functions will be available by pressing and pinching the stems of the earbuds as well. Also mentioned are 360-degree recording, adaptive noise control and Find Your Phone, all available on the current model.
It’s unclear whether this design and features will also be adopted by the standard Galaxy Buds 4, but it seems likely. Based on this and other previous leaks, we should see the headphones appear alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26 early next year.
