Boyd remained at Bellevue Hospital, according to multiple reports. Police released two photos of a suspect wanted for discharging a firearm.
Meanwhile, Boyd’s Jets teammates kept the cornerback and special teams player in mind during practice.
Defensive end Harrison Phillips said some of his teammates had talked to Boyd.
“I just know there have been a lot of answered prayers,” Phillips said. “It’s a blessing to know that he is in stable condition, surrounded by his family and with a lot of support around him. Definitely, from where the news was originally reported, there is a lot of panic and a lot of emotion in that. I don’t want to lighten the situation, but I think we are a little more grateful to know that he is now in stable condition.”

“So it’s time for us to come together,” Ruckert said. “And like I said, prayers for him and his family. And I hope everything ends well.”
The man wanted by police was not identified by name.
“The wanted individual is described as a medium-skinned man,” police said. “He was last seen wearing a black cap, a black sweatshirt, black pants, multi-colored sneakers and a black backpack.”
