Fears arising from possible privatization of PIA have increased uncertainty among employees and incidents of personnel going missing abroad continue.
Flight purser Asif Najam, who arrived in Canada on November 16 aboard a PIA flight from Lahore, has reportedly gone missing from his hotel.
He was scheduled to return to Lahore on November 19. The flight left without him. Several PIA employees have previously disappeared abroad under similar circumstances.
The PIA spokesperson said departmental action will be taken against the employee.
