Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may face a tough road ahead after rejecting Kris Jenner’s request to share photos from her recent birthday party.
According heat magazine, The move by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could strain their ties with the Kardashian matriarch.
A source said Kris didn’t take kindly to the Sussexes rejecting her request and may cut ties with the couple over the humiliation she faced.
If it does, the couple’s social and financial prospects could suffer, particularly as Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, continues to suffer due to “lackluster sales,” the source said.
“Meghan is distraught because she respects Kris, but she’s not giving up hope,” the source said of Meghan’s reaction to the issue.
“She has already sent a letter of apology and will no doubt send Christmas gift packages and other peace offerings to find her way back into the Kardashians’ good books,” they added.
The source continued: “She’s hoping it will all blow over and be a thing of the past soon enough. But when you come across this family, there tends to be no turning back and they will most likely give Harry and Meghan extremely wide leeway to move on.
“Meghan isn’t giving up, but right now it’s a nightmare when it comes to their social prospects and it’s probably costing them a lot of money too. She really didn’t want to upset Kris and just wants to get their friendship back.”
