Meghan Markle has sparked new controversy after she was seen wearing a very expensive Chanel dress that she first wore during a photo shoot in 2022.
Fans noticed that the dress, originally seen at Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2022-23 Paris Fashion Week show, now valued at nearly $8,000 on resale markets, is the exact same one she wore for The Cut magazine three years ago.
The revived dress was worn by the Duchess of Sussex when she and Prince Harry visited New York City in October. Her astrologer friend Angela Pearl posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, showing her wearing the Chanel tweed dress from the old photo shoot while dining at the private SoHo home.
It is pertinent to mention that this sparked rumors that Meghan Markle would not return clothes from past shoots. A journalist previously shared that designers were shocked when the Duchess of Sussex did not return items from photo shoots, including dresses and jewelry.
However, Prince Harry’s wife never commented on the accusations.
Additionally, Meghan also wore a green dress earlier this month from her 2022 Variety magazine photo shoot for her Netflix promotion. This sparked more speculation that the Suits alum was saving clothes for photo shoots.
